A trio of Zaub, the top one is Dunst colored using the Chunky Oil Pastels, the middle one is Achtung, "painted" with the Wet Round Gouache, and the bottom one is a random Zaub done using the Pastel tools. The Zaub are one of the three main intelligent species on Tae-Kahn and have what is called the "Zaub Gift" or Kech (those that have it are called Kechen). Virtually all Zaub are Kechen, which means they are able to manipulate elements, such as, in Dunst's case, Silver. Zaub, Dunst, and Achtung are the intellectual property of CERT Image © CERT

Emidar Rohkain by KunstFeuer

An experimental drawing of Emidar Rohkain, Maibenti's cousin. And yes, the shoulder marking does mean something. That symbol in particular reflects his as being a Shaman/Healer/Spiritual Guide in the Ro'ain Clan. The number of radiating marks on the outside gives you an idea of his rank within that group (from zero to ten). Initially both of his eyes were yellow, but I got the distinct impression while working on this piece that the left one needed to be blue. An experiment in Painter 8 using the chuky oil pastels. It's all on one layer, because I'm layer-phobic. (The actual file is two layers, one with the skech and one with the color, but what you see here is all one layer sans the watermark.) Sevian, the Foxxis, Emidar Rohkain, and the Ro'ain Clan are the intellectual property of CERT and H. Gladden.

Kallon Hillenbohn by KunstFeuer

Kallon is Sray's younger brother. He is a bit hot-headed and quite confrontational. He and Teigan have gotten into several rows that have resulted in Kallon storming off, not to be seen for days or weeks before returning home, often bloodied, bruised, and somewhat humbled. He isn't stupid, but as stated, his temper often gets in the way of better judgement. He is currently an apprentice under a local Blacksmith and is still trying to find his place in the world. He isn't as easy-going and accepting as Sray and has not found himself on an easy path. Kallon has more power than Sray when it comes to being able to control heat (fire), but he doesn't have the control nor refinement that his sister has reached. Drawn and inked yesterday (kindof during class) and attacked in Photoshop this morning. Lemyes, the Clamon, Getier, and Kallon Hillenbohn are intellectual property of CERT.

The Past Comes Knocking by KunstFeuer

This scene may end up in my graphic novel, Shifting Times, when I finally get that far. Being as I've only finished page eleven I have a very, very long way to go. Although Rirhe has calmed quite a bit since his initial 'shift, he is not easy-going by nature. Having his mother-in-law show up on his doorstep when she, along with the rest of his old hometown, is supposed to believe him dead, does not settle well on his easily-frazzled nerves. Rirhe's Mark (Marks by now) are not visible here as he's reached the point that he can, in effect "hide" them; the Mark appears on the skin, but not on the overlaying fur or feather (as the case may be). Hurra for random inforamtion! Rirhe, Keit and Teinek Donseh, Frineir, the Keine sub-type, the Shabenay, and Kashian are intellectual property of CERT.
